How We Began

The Travel Essentials story began with a trip to north Queensland. We arrived at our serviced apartment right on the beach after a long trip. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed but not key ‘extras’: good coffee, tea, milk, tomato sauce for the BBQ, sugar. What we bought from the local shops was too large for our short stay. We ended up throwing out half of what we’d bought (it’s hard to take half-opened packets of sugar, sauce and Vegemite home on the plane!). So on our return flight the idea for Travelfare packs was born.

Since that experience Travelfare breakfast packs were introduced to the hospitality industry and are now the leading breakfast packs of their kind, providing quality, stylish and convenient in-house catering options for hotels and serviced apartments.

Providing breakfast to thousands of travellers led to the development of other unique guest / traveller amenities, such as Travelfare wine and beer packs. These packs have led in turn to the development of a whole range of corporate gift options (also ideal as VIP guest incentives). Also recently introduced are Travelfare pantry packs.
